Important Announcement Regarding the 2025 Tartan Day Gala Fundraiser:

It is with great regret that the Edmonton Firefighters Piping and Drumming Society announces the cancellation of this year's Tartan Day Gala. 

Due to limited ticket sales, we cannot proceed without incurring a substantial financial loss, which is unsustainable for our non-profit organization. 

Today is the final day to confirm or cancel our catering and venue arrangements without incurring any significant penalties. 

Furthermore, the event venue recently suffered a water main break, which will not be repaired until the ground thaws. Although non-potable water would be available, the lack of potable water would significantly impact logistics of the event, including our bar service and sanitation. The alternative venues presented to us today, would not meet the needs of such an event.  We cannot compromise on the quality of experience we aimed to provide with this Tartan Gala. 

All tickets will be fully refunded within the next 48 hours. We appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time.

We will keep you updated on upcoming events and ways to support our organization as we reassess the events we host for our community and fire service in pursuit of our mission. 

To those who donated silent auction items, we still utilise them to promote your organisation and assist us in further fundraising.

Update: 
We have refunded all tickets on our end / orders will be refunded by Eventbrite. 

Eventbrite refunds typically return to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. However, it can take up to 10 business days, and if it's longer, you can request an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) to help track the refund with your bank or card company.
