Sadly we inform you that retired Assistant Chief William (Bill) Penrice passed away. He retired May 18, 1989 with 37 years of service.

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, William Penrice peacefully passed away at the age of 93 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Grace; sons, William Blayne (Shirley) and Malcolm Bradley (Dorothy); daughters-in-law, Judy and Pat; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. William was considered an adoptive grandfather to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his son, Ron; his parents, one brother and three sisters.

Family and friends may pay their respects Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 6 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial. Memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army - Stepping Stone Supportive Living or to Alberta SPCA.
