Chef Richard Toll

Rest Easy

We are mourning together with Richard Toll’s loving family, friends and many many colleagues and acquaintances in the Celtic community over his passing.

Our sincerest condolences to his family.

Our good friend Rich passed away unexpectantly at home on February 14th, 2025.

A beloved family man, and dedicated colleague. Richard was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Angela and father to his six children. He was also passionate about his company, Celtic Kitchen Yeg, where he consistently provided high-quality, unique Celtic cuisine across Alberta. Richard was an active participant in Robbie Burns events and other highland gatherings throughout Alberta, including our annual Tartan Gala where we use him as our caterer and Chef. He even attended our annual Firefighters Memorial in support of our fire service, its members and families of our fallen, he was an open advocate of supporting military vets and first responders. He was always enthusiastic about collaborating with and supporting our endeavors. Richard had established personal relationships with many of us, and his absence will be deeply felt.

For Richard,

May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
