A message from the Edmonton Firefighters Memorial Society.

To all our dear families, friends, fellow fighters and other emergency personnel, dignitaries, and members of the public who could not be with us for this year's ceremony, we truly missed your presence in the Memorial Plaza. We were still able to hold a small ceremony (in accordance with Covid 19 health guidelines) to honour and pay homage to all our fallen. The ceremony was recorded and we've provided the link so that all who wish to watch it, can still do so. Thank you to our Edmonton Firefighters Honour Guard, our Edmonton Firefighters Pipes and Drums, Chief Joe Zatylny and his Deputy Chiefs, and Councillor Andrew Knack for your attendance today. And a very special thank you to Cineflair production company for recording the ceremony and producing this video so that those who could not be with us, can still take part in it. We look forward to seeing you all and having you with us once again in the plaza at next year's ceremony.
